Tag Sense AI reads text and extracts useful information from supported images, then applies context-aware tags. This makes files easier to find later with File Organizer's tagging and search without requiring you to classify everything by hand.
Open the Settings app and turn on Tag Sense AI. The first time you enable it, you'll be guided through installing the local AI engine (Ollama) and downloading a model — this is a one-time setup step.
All analysis happens on your own computer. Your file contents are never uploaded or sent to the cloud, and there is no tracking or telemetry involved.
Tag Sense AI supports text-based documents and supported image formats. Images can be analyzed with local OCR and classified by content, purpose, and subject. Face recognition and people management are provided through People+.
