How do I install Productivity Plus Pack?

Download the appropriate installer for your system (x64 or ARM64) from the download page and run the .msi file. Follow the installation wizard to complete the setup.

What are the system requirements?

Productivity Plus Pack requires Windows 10 or Windows 11. Both x64 and ARM64 architectures are supported.

How do I tag files with File Organizer?

Right-click on any file in Windows Explorer and select the tag option from the context menu. You can also use the keyboard shortcut Ctrl+Win+Alt+T followed by a number key (1-9) to quickly apply tags.

How do I uninstall?

Go to Windows Settings > Apps > Installed apps, find "Productivity Plus Pack" in the list, and click Uninstall.

Is my data safe?

Yes. All your tags, ratings, and settings are stored locally on your computer. We do not collect or transmit any of your personal data.

Can I tag or rate directories?

Yes it is also possible to tag and rate folders. This will just tag/rate the folder itself, not the files inside it.

Does folder icons sync across OneDrive?

Yes, but it will likely take a minute or so for OneDrive to sync the changes and for us to detect changes and update the folder icons across your devices.

What is the difference between PowerToys New+ and New++?

New++ included in Productivity Plus Pack, typically gets updates and features first. A few examples:

• Groups of templates (feature)
• Supports prompting of values on creation (feature)
• Create folder with selected items (feature)
• Update variables within files (feature)
• $NNNN variable support (feature)
• New++ consistently enters rename mode (improvement)
• 4x faster (improvement)
• With more ++ features in the works!

I love the File Organizer's tagging and rating features. And I in particular enjoy the tags and rating overlays in thumbnails! That can't have been easy to get working in Windows.
